Terms of Use for ConvertDesk.
These Terms explain the basic rules for using ConvertDesk, the ConvertDesk website, future downloads, paid features and support services.

1. Product and publisher
ConvertDesk is a Windows desktop file conversion application developed by AppLab. ConvertDesk is currently in early release preparation.

2. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing the ConvertDesk website, downloading ConvertDesk or using ConvertDesk, you agree to these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the website, download the software or use the application.
3. Use of the software
ConvertDesk is intended to help users convert files through a Windows desktop workflow. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to access, process, convert and use any files you select in ConvertDesk.
You must not use ConvertDesk for illegal activity, unauthorized file processing, copyright infringement, malware distribution or any activity that violates applicable law.
4. File responsibility and backups
File conversion can sometimes produce unexpected results due to unsupported formats, corrupted files, missing codecs, system configuration or conversion limitations.
You are responsible for keeping backups of important files before running conversions. Do not use ConvertDesk as the only storage location for important data.
5. Early release status
ConvertDesk is currently in early release preparation. Features, design, pricing, licensing, availability and supported formats may change before public launch.
The public installer, ConvertDesk Pro licensing and payment checkout are not live yet. They will be added only after final testing and release preparation.
6. Free and Pro editions
ConvertDesk may be offered in Free and Pro editions.

Basic conversion features for personal use. Final limits and available features may change.
ConvertDesk Pro
Planned paid edition with full conversion tools, priority updates and commercial use rights.
Pricing
Final pricing will be published before payment checkout is enabled.
Licensing
Activation and license management will be documented before public launch.
7. Payments
ConvertDesk Pro payments are not currently live.
If paid features are enabled in the future, payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider such as Paddle, FastSpring, PayPro Global or another selected provider.
Payment terms, taxes, invoices, subscriptions, license delivery and refund handling may depend on the selected payment provider.
8. Refunds
Refund terms will be finalized before paid checkout is enabled.
If ConvertDesk Pro becomes available for purchase, refund handling may follow the rules of the selected payment processor. Users should contact support first if they experience a technical issue.
The final refund policy will be published on the ConvertDesk website before public paid release.
9. Updates and changes
AppLab may update, modify, suspend or discontinue ConvertDesk features, website content, download links, pricing, licensing rules or supported formats.
Updates may be required to fix bugs, improve performance, add features or address security issues.
10. Third-party components and services
ConvertDesk may use third-party tools, libraries, payment providers, hosting providers, licensing services, email services or distribution services.
Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies and operational rules. The final list of production services will be documented before public launch where required.
11. No guarantee of perfect conversion
ConvertDesk is designed to support practical file conversion workflows, but no file conversion software can guarantee perfect results for every file, format, codec, structure or edge case.
Some conversions may fail or produce incomplete output, especially with damaged files, password-protected files, unsupported formats, unusual encodings or missing dependencies.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AppLab is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of files, loss of profits, business interruption or system issues related to use or inability to use ConvertDesk.
Users should maintain backups and test important workflows before relying on any conversion output.
13. User responsibilities
You agree to use ConvertDesk responsibly and lawfully.
You are responsible for your files.
You must ensure that you have permission to process and convert selected files.
You are responsible for backups.
You should keep backup copies of important files before converting them.
You are responsible for legal use.
You must not use ConvertDesk to violate copyright, privacy, security or other laws.
14. Website content
Information on the ConvertDesk website may be updated over time. Product descriptions, features, screenshots, pricing, availability and release status may change before launch.
The current website is a temporary GitHub Pages website and will be replaced or connected to the official domain before public launch.
15. Intellectual property
ConvertDesk, ConvertDesk Pro, AppLab branding, website content, product design and related materials are owned by AppLab or their respective rights holders.
You may not copy, redistribute, resell, reverse engineer or misuse the software except as permitted by applicable law or a written license agreement.
16. Termination
AppLab may restrict access to paid features, licenses or services if there is misuse, fraud, violation of these Terms, chargeback abuse or illegal activity.
17. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated before or after public launch to reflect product changes, legal requirements, payment integration, licensing, support systems or business changes.
The latest version will be available on the ConvertDesk website.
