This Privacy Policy explains how ConvertDesk handles information during use of the website, desktop application, support process and future payment or licensing workflows.

2. Current website status
This website is currently hosted on GitHub Pages as a temporary product website. The official domain will be connected before public launch.
The website currently contains product information, download preparation, legal pages and support information.
3. Website data
Basic website hosting may involve standard technical logs processed by the hosting provider. These logs may include information such as IP address, browser type, device information, visited pages and request time.
AppLab does not currently operate a custom analytics system on this temporary website.
4. Desktop application file handling
ConvertDesk is designed as Windows desktop software for file conversion workflows. Files selected by the user are intended to be processed through the application workflow according to the selected conversion type.
The public installer and final production behavior will be documented before launch. Users should always keep backups of important files before running conversions.
5. Account information
ConvertDesk does not currently require a user account for the temporary website.
If account-based licensing or activation is added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what account data is collected and how it is used.
6. Payments and licensing
ConvertDesk Pro payment and licensing are not live yet.
If paid features are enabled, payment may be processed by a third-party payment provider such as Paddle, FastSpring, PayPro Global or another selected provider. Payment details are expected to be processed by the payment provider and not stored directly by AppLab.
Future licensing systems may process license keys, activation status, device identifiers or purchase status where necessary to activate and protect ConvertDesk Pro.
7. Support communication
If you contact support, AppLab may receive your email address, message content and any technical information you choose to include, such as Windows version, ConvertDesk version, input file type, output format and error details.
Support information is used to understand and respond to user issues.
8. Third-party services
ConvertDesk may use third-party services for website hosting, payment processing, licensing, email support, software distribution or update checks.
The final list of third-party services will be confirmed before public launch and this Privacy Policy will be updated when those services are selected.
9. Data security
AppLab intends to use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information related to ConvertDesk support, payments and licensing.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Users should avoid sending sensitive files or confidential data through support channels unless specifically requested and necessary.
10. Data retention
Support messages may be retained as needed to respond to issues, maintain records and improve the product.
Payment and licensing records may be retained by the selected payment provider or licensing system according to their legal and operational requirements.
11. Children
ConvertDesk is general-purpose productivity software and is not specifically directed to children.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated before or after public launch to reflect product changes, payment integration, licensing, support systems or legal requirements.
The latest version will be available on the ConvertDesk website.
